With Wi-Fi Calling from BT Mobile, you can call and text over Wi-Fi in the UK. This is great news if you live in an area with poor mobile coverage and can't use your mobile at home; just connect via Wi-Fi instead.
You don't need an app as Wi-Fi Calling works in the background, so you can use your phone as normal. And it won't use up your data allowance either, as calls and texts come out of your monthly minutes and texts allowance.
It's available to anyone with BT Mobile plan. You'll need a compatible device with the latest software.
