Need to change or reset your BT Email password?

If you've forgotten your password or need to change it, don't worry, you can easily do it online. We show you where and how to change it depending on whether you're using BT Yahoo Mail or BT Mail.

We recommend using a unique password for your BT Email account that you don't use elsewhere.

If you've forgotten your BT Email password

Go to bt.com/email and click the Forgotten log-in details? link.

You'll be guided through secure steps to reset your password.

If you know your password but want to change it:

1. go to bt.com/email and log in using your current email address and password
2. click your name or profile icon in the top-right corner
3. select Account info from the dropdown
4. on the next page, select Change my password and follow the instructions

Important:

If you access your email on a mobile device, tablet, or email app, make sure you update your password on all devices after making any changes. This helps to avoid login issues.
