3 Way Calling: If you've been upgraded to Digital Voice or Home Phone Standard

 

3 Way Calling 

3 Way Calling is a feature that can be used when 3 callers need to join a conversation. By conference calling, all 3 people can contribute and there's no need to make multiple calls. It is only available if you have been upgraded to Home Phone Standard or Digital Voice.

You need a touch-tone phone with a recall button ( R or Recall written in text on the button) to make use of the 3 Way Calling service.

For Digital Voice or Home Phone Standard

You pay for the additional caller, unless this cost is covered by an inclusive call minutes package.  

You can either pay each time or this can be inclusive with some plans. 

 

Using 3 Way Calling 

You can add or remove Calling Features online .

 

Using a Digital Voice handset:

  1. Select Options when a call is in progress with one of them. 

  2. Select 3 Way Call from the voice menu. 

  3. Enter the number of the third person you want to add to the call.

  4. Hang up, to end the call. 

 

Or, you can choose someone from your Contacts or Calls list, by: 

  1. Select Options

  2. Select the list. 

  3. Scroll to the number. 

  4. Select Call

  5. Hang up, to end the call. 

 

Using a personal phone:

You can add or remove add or remove Calling Features online 

  1. Dial the first contact’s number.  

  2. Press the recall button on your telephone keypad.  

  3. Wait for the dialling tone. 

  4. Dial the second contact’s number.  

  5. Press recall, when the call is answered. 

  6. Select 3, when you hear the dialling tone. 

  7. Hang up, to end the call. 

 

Talking to each caller separately 

  1. Select 2 instead of 3 when the second call is answered. 

     

To switch between callers 

  1. Select recall
  2. Wait for the dialling tone. 
  3. Select 2.
  4. Hang up, to end the call.

 

To end the first call only 

  1. Select recall.
  2. Wait for the dialling tone.
  3. Select 5. 

 

To end the second call only 

  1. Select recall

  2. Wait for the dialling tone. 

  3. Select 7
